GPS Controlled Rubidium Frequency Reference

This frequency reference is used to provide an accurate frequency reference to test equipment and transverters in the G8LYB shack

The main reference is a SRS PRS-10 Rubidium Frequency Reference. A Trimble Thunderbolt GPS receiver is used to provide a 1PPS signal locked to GPS which is fed to the PRS-10 which uses it to discipline the Rubidium frequency reference. The PRS-10 configured with a time constant of approximately 8 hours.

A frequency divider produces 1MHz from the 10MHz produced by the PRS-19.

TAPR TADD-1 distribution amplifiers are used to provide 10Mhz and 1MHz signals for use by connected equipment. a TAPR TADD-2 is used to provide 1PPS signals for timing reference.
